Banks are open weekdays between
09:00 am. to 12:30 pm. in the
mornings and 01:30 pm. to 05:00
pm. in the afternoons. Some
banks are open on Saturdays and
also during lunch hours between
12.30 - 01.30 pm. There are
numerous exchange offices in
Marmaris. You are able to find
an exchange office in any corner
of Marmaris.
Passport and Visa Information
U.S. and European citizens need
a valid passport to enter Turkey
and stay up to 90 days with a
tourist visa.
Before you travel
to Turkey, also make sure your
passport is valid for at least
90 days. There is no need for an
application for tourist visas.
You are able to purchase your
visa at the Turkish Airports
upon your arrival.
There are
visa desks by the passport
control points.
The visas for - UK citizens cost £10,
- EU state nationals cost €15,
- US citizens cost $20. Prices are valid till October
31, 2011.
Each passport holder
including infants must purchase
a Visa.
